A la découverte d’EZE

The exceptional perched village of Eze clings to the mountainside at 400 meters above sea level, in a dominating and quite spectacular position above the Mediterranean Sea. Close to Nice (11 km) as well as to Monaco (9 km).
The fortified village of Eze dates back to the middle ages and is an authentic ‘Perched Village’ that has been beautifully and carefully conserved.
The plunging view over the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat peninsula and the Baie des Anges is quite literally breathtaking. Not to be missed : The Jardin Exotique, the church Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption, the Fragonard Laboratory and olfactory workshop, and, if there’s any time left and you’re feeling energetic, take the trail leading from the village to the coast, ‘Nietzsche’s path’…
Tips for dining in Eze : for sophisticated cuisine try La Chèvre d’Or (2*Michelin), le Nid D’Aigle for a more casual eating experience, or simply coffee and croissants on one of the many terraces … The choice is yours!
